Bedford, New Hampshire – Celebrating Community Heroes: Kayla Stoll Recognized as a Star Student
New Hampshire is buzzing with brilliant young minds, and Patch, in partnership with T-Mobile, is thrilled to highlight Kayla Stoll, a dedicated College Sophomore and environmental advocate.
Nominated by her mother, Christine Stoll, Kayla’s commitment to community service started early with her involvement in organic agriculture at the Educational Farm at Joppa Hill. By age 11, she was not only learning from master gardeners but also educating diverse groups about sustainable practices. By 2021, Kayla’s hard work paid off as she advanced from Garden Apprentice to Assistant Manager, overseeing crops and promoting organic produce.
Kayla’s passion for the environment truly ignited at 14 when she confronted the plastic pollution crisis, writing letters to lawmakers and using her knowledge to raise awareness. In 2023, she launched her YouTube channel, Earthling Impact, dedicated to educating youth on environmental issues.
Currently, Kayla is a lab technician in ecohydrology at UNH, pursuing dual degrees in Environmental Science and Environmental Engineering. She recently delivered a TEDx Talk advocating for enhanced environmental education, showcasing her determination and leadership. Additionally, she has been featured in SNHU productions and invited to join the Global Citizen Circle as an Emerging Leader.
