Grafton County Complex is currently seeking a Skilled Maintenance Assistant to join their team full-time. The position offers a pay range of $22.04 – $30.03 per hour, with an additional $2.75 per hour for evening shift and weekend differentials.
The primary duties of the role include maintaining and repairing buildings, grounds, and equipment at the county complex. Qualifications for the position include the ability to perform various maintenance tasks such as masonry work, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical work, and more. Candidates must have a high school diploma, advanced courses from a 2-year college or technical school, and 2-4 years of verifiable experience in maintenance-related work.
Applicants must also be computer literate, able to read blueprints and schematics, pass a drug screening and background check, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift objects weighing up to 70 lbs. Those with current trade licenses or certifications will be given preference.
