A 23-year-old woman from Keene, New Hampshire, named Kelli Tedford was arrested for recording herself urinating on food and other items at a local business and posting the videos on social media. The incident led to a recall on several items at the Monadnock Food Co-Op. Keene police stated that Tedford contaminated items with her urine in a video posted online. The store took swift action to ensure the community’s health and safety, working closely with the Keene Health Department to manage the situation. Longtime customers expressed shock and disgust at the incident, with one customer citing the terrifying nature of the event considering their frequent visits to the store.
Tedford’s arrest came after an investigation revealed similar incidents occurring in Keene and surrounding communities as early as 2021. She was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on April 7. As a result of the incident, the Monadnock Food Co-Op faced a financial loss of over $1,500 in merchandise and cleaning costs.
