Mace, 47, revealed her gubernatorial aspirations during her speech, asserting, "Not only do you pick presidents, maybe you can pick the next South Carolina governor. I’m going to be announcing a run very shortly, potentially, for that as well." Her comments showcase the significance of the South Carolina governorship—a position often viewed as a stepping stone for national office.
In a bold statement, Mace remarked on the fear among political establishment figures regarding her potential candidacy. “The establishment is afraid I will jump in for Governor. So afraid they’re willing to do anything in their power to stop me,” she stated.

As a survivor of sexual assault and domestic violence, she emphasized her belief that former President Donald Trump is committed to protecting women.
Mace also underscored her willingness to make difficult decisions in Congress, including her vote to subpoena Jeffrey Epstein’s files, despite criticism from her party. "I came to Congress to make a difference," she stated.
