Press Release: New Hampshire Man Arrested in Kentucky for Alleged Human Trafficking Involving Minor
FLORENCE, Ky. — Paul Vallatini, 37, of New Hampshire, was arrested in Kentucky on charges of human trafficking involving a minor and multiple counts of distributing obscene material to a minor, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest was prompted by an anonymous tip received on Friday, alerting authorities to a man allegedly meeting a juvenile female for inappropriate purposes. Investigators discovered that Vallatini had connected with the girl via social media and had communicated with her through Snapchat, where he reportedly sent explicit photos on at least five occasions.
Law enforcement officials located Vallatini and the girl together in Florence. During their interviews, the girl revealed that she had picked him up from the airport the previous day and that he had taken her shopping, buying her gifts, including underwear, over the course of their two-day encounter.
Subsequently, police executed a search warrant at Vallatini’s hotel room. A range of items corroborating the victim’s statements was found, along with condoms in Vallatini’s possession.
Vallatini is currently being held at Boone County Jail, awaiting further legal proceedings. The case sheds light on the dangers of online interactions and the importance of safeguarding minors in digital spaces.
Local authorities continue to urge vigilance and encourage reporting any suspicious activities.
