New Hampshire Judicial Branch Invites Public Feedback on Court Efficiency
CONCORD, NH – The New Hampshire Judicial Branch is actively seeking public input on its court system as part of an initiative to enhance operational efficiency. An online survey has been launched by the efficiency committee, established by the Supreme Court on April 11, in collaboration with the National Center for State Courts.
New Hampshire Supreme Court Chief Justice Gordon J. MacDonald emphasized the importance of public participation, stating, “Our efficiency committee has been working hard to maximize the efficient use of public resources.” He encouraged anyone who has interacted with the courts to share their experiences. The survey is designed for ease of use and ensures that all responses remain anonymous. Those interested can participate through the provided link.
The survey, open for a few weeks, is aimed at collecting feedback from various stakeholders, including litigants, attorneys, court staff, and the general public. Participants will address specific areas such as the types of court services used, aspects that require improvement, and what functions are working effectively.
The committee, comprising judges and experienced court personnel, is also reviewing administrative structures from other state court systems to suggest necessary statutory and rule changes. A comprehensive report will be submitted to the Supreme Court by July 1, 2025, shaped by the feedback gathered through this important survey.
