Ossipee, N.H. – Peabody Man Arrested for Speeding
A 28-year-old man from Peabody, Massachusetts, was arrested in Ossipee, New Hampshire, for driving at an alarming speed of 120 MPH—double the posted limit on Route 16. The incident occurred on Sunday at approximately 2:49 PM, when a New Hampshire State Police trooper on patrol observed the speeding BMW.
Following the traffic stop, driver Jacob Driscoll was charged with reckless operation. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the high-speed incident. Driscoll has since been released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Ossipee District Court on July 30.
Local authorities emphasize the importance of road safety and adherence to speed limits, noting that reckless driving can result in severe consequences for both the driver and other road users.
