Parents Appeal After Ban for Protest at Bow Soccer Game
Bow, NH – Parents of Bow soccer players are challenging a recent court decision that upheld their removal from a game for wearing pink wristbands displaying “XX,” a protest against biological males participating in girls’ sports. Lawyers for Kyle Fellers, Anthony Foote, Nicole Foote, and Eldon Rash have filed an appeal with the First Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston, following U.S. District Court Judge Steven McAuliffe’s denial of their request for an injunction against the Bow School District (SAU 67).
In his ruling, Judge McAuliffe stated that the XX symbol in this context could be perceived as demeaning towards transgender women, emphasizing that such identities are deeply rooted in personal identity.
