Claremont Senior Center Offers Engaging Activities and Programs

Claremont, NH – The Claremont Senior Center invites community members to participate in a variety of activities and services available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. Popular offerings include pool, card games, knitting, and mahjong, alongside health services like Miracle Ear and VNA Foot Clinics.

Meal reservations for dine-in and takeout are required by 10:30 a.m., with affordable options priced at $5 for members and $6 for non-members. Upcoming menus feature Amish Salisbury steak and ham & cheese mini subs.

Upcoming trips include a cruise on the Lac Du Saint Sacrament with a buffet and live entertainment, priced at $100 for members. A full trip to Lake George is currently full, with a waiting list available.

The center will also host a yard sale on June 6 and 7, encouraging donations of household items. A May foot clinic series is scheduled for the 1st, 14th, 21st, and 28th, with appointments required.

Regular activities include Wednesday Bingo, team cribbage on Tuesdays, and knitting gatherings on Fridays. A Women to Women meeting and various fitness classes, including chair yoga and tai chi, are also scheduled.
