A New Hampshire man, Guillermo Rafael Sanchez Jr., 27, from Manchester, is facing charges of drunken driving after allegedly driving the wrong way on Interstate 93. State police received a report of Sanchez driving northbound in the southbound lanes near Exit 30 in Woodstock. Troopers located Sanchez at Exit 31, pulled off on the median shoulder facing the wrong direction. Sanchez was charged with driving while intoxicated, second offense; transporting alcoholic beverages, open container; felony reckless conduct and reckless driving. He was held on preventative detention and will be arraigned at a later date in Plymouth District Court. The Woodstock, Lincoln, and Franconia police departments assisted state troopers with the case.
