New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR) and the Warren B. Rudman Center for Justice, Leadership & Public Service at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law will be hosting NPR’s Leila Fadel as the next featured speaker in the Justice & Journalism series. The event will take place on Thursday, April 24 at the UNH School of Law in Concord.
Fadel, who is known for her impactful reporting from the Middle East and other conflict zones, will be interviewed by NHPR’s Annmarie Timmins. Fadel’s work has earned her prestigious awards, including the Lowell Thomas Award from the Overseas Press Club for her coverage of ISIS’s rise in 2014.
The Justice & Journalism series aims to bring nationally renowned journalists to the Rudman Center for discussions on public affairs and the role of the media in shaping public policy. This event is made possible by the support of the Couch Family Foundation.
NHPR is the only statewide radio news service in New Hampshire, delivering award-winning journalism through various platforms including radio broadcasts and online content. The organization offers a wide range of programs, podcasts, and newsletters covering local and national news. Tickets for the event featuring Leila Fadel can be found on the NHPR website.
