Rescon has been providing basement waterproofing, foundation repair, and crawl space encapsulation services in New Hampshire and Massachusetts for around 30 years. The founder and CEO of Groundworks, Matt Malone, stated that Rescon has an extensive understanding of the unique property conditions in the Northeast, and the employees will continue to serve customers under the Groundworks name.
Malone highlighted the importance of modernizing and capitalizing on the foundation and waterproofing challenges that are specific to New England, which has nearly seven million single-family homes with an average age of 45 years. The acquisition of Rescon will allow Groundworks to deepen its connection to homeowners in the region, ensuring the safety, stability, and longevity of their homes.
Groundworks has shown significant growth in recent years, acquiring numerous companies to expand into new markets in the United States and Canada. The owner of Rescon Basement Solutions, Christopher Brown, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that it will provide the resources to improve customer service and offer additional benefits to employees.
